- I'm don't know much about the 1960, but I seem to recall that it was
- actually cheaper (not just in price) than the 1950. I know that my
- 1950 was built by NEC (it's similar to an NEC 2A), and I've been very
- happy with it. I've had it for about six years now (about--I bought
- it fairly soon after it was released), and I've never had any
- difficulties with mine (which, statistically speaking, doesn't mean
- much), and the picture quality at 800x600 seems pretty good for a 14"
- (13" viewable) monitor. The overall build quality of the 1950 has
- always impressed me.
